Creative Writing with Colin

The creative writing process is fun and imaginative but also complex and systematic. Learning to successfully write creatively goes far beyond simply having a good imagination.

Throughout the 2024 and 2025 school year, we will be offering blocks of creative writing courses with specific focus and objectives. Together, the courses combine to make a thorough and complete curriculum (including a great preparation for the 11+ entrance exam).

Each course is run separately, and students can choose between all, some, or just a single course.

Participation in previous courses is not required as each session has its specific objectives and activities.

Course 1:  An Intro to Creative Writing Skills                      6 classes between Feb 26 - Apr 2

Course 2:  Figurative Language - Literary Devices             5 classes between April 23 - May 21

Course 3:  Character Development and Dialogue               7 classes between June 4 - July 16
