Group Storytelling
Storytelling is all around us. When you talk with friends, you tell stories. When you meet new people, you tell stories. When you go to work, you tell stories. Humans are natural storytellers and being a good storyteller is an important skill in the social, academic and working world.
In this course, we will discover and learn how to tell great stories through the use of humour, suspense and intrigue. Different stories will be heard that demonstrate the approaches after which students will choose a personal story to apply the learning.
We will also end with a class on the need to review and edit our stories (work, ideas) as students often spend little time on the all-important finishing touches.
