The course looks into the development of economic thinking and the economic reality since the Middle Ages. We look into theories, determine why these were developed, study their main concepts. We also discuss how economy has changed since the Middle Ages, how the changes affected economic thinking and how economic thinking, in turn, changed policymaking.
