This class will meet at 4 pm Eastern European Time zone every Wednesday from September 17th, 2025, to May 31, 2026. We will have a fall, winter, and spring break.

This class is a continuation of the English Explorers 2024-2025 course*. It is designed for students who are proficient in English (at least B1-B2 level, but don’t worry if you're unsure of your level!). This class is offered in a club format and will focus heavily on projects.

Join this course to:

  • Join a book club: Participate in weekly discussions about a book we read together!

  • All materials will be provided for free online!

  • Develop cultural understanding of English: Learn about English culture and language!

  • Build teamwork skills: Engage in fun group projects!

  • Enhance creative writing skills: Write stories!

  • Discuss cultural awareness: Compare different cultural perspectives!

  • Analyze texts: Develop critical and creative thinking about fiction!

  • Write various texts: Create essays, stories, and reflective pieces with structured feedback.

Some activities you can expect include:

  • New York Times Games Group warm-ups: Wordles, Crosswords, and Connections.

  • Group debates: Respectfully discuss and argue on topics in science, philosophy, art, and more.

  • Creative Writing Workshops: Explore storytelling, persuasive essays, and multimedia writing.

  • Culture in Focus: Present a country, festival, or tradition using visuals and research.

  • Podcasting or Blogging Project: Create a short podcast or blog series to practice speaking and writing for real audiences. (Optional, but strongly encouraged! The instructor will support students in creating a podcast or blog!)

  • Listen to lectures from guest speakers, including scientists, philosophers, and others.

*That class is not required to join this one.
