This class will meet at 4 pm Eastern European Time zone every Wednesday from September 9th, 2025, to May 31, 2026. We will have a fall, winter, and spring break.
This class is a continuation of the English Explorers 2024-2025 course*. It is designed for students who are proficient in English (at least B1-B2 level, but don’t worry if you're unsure of your level!). This class is offered in a club format and will focus heavily on projects.

Join a book club: Participate in weekly discussions about a book we read together!
All materials will be provided for free online!
Develop cultural understanding of English: Learn about English culture and language!
Build teamwork skills: Engage in fun group projects!
Enhance creative writing skills: Write stories!
Discuss cultural awareness: Compare different cultural perspectives!
Analyze texts: Develop critical and creative thinking about fiction!
Write various texts: Create essays, stories, and reflective pieces with structured feedback.
Some activities you can expect include:
New York Times Games Group warm-ups: Wordles, Crosswords, and Connections.
Group debates: Respectfully discuss and argue on topics in science, philosophy, art, and more.
Creative Writing Workshops: Explore storytelling, persuasive essays, and multimedia writing.
Culture in Focus: Present a country, festival, or tradition using visuals and research.
Podcasting or Blogging Project: Create a short podcast or blog series to practice speaking and writing for real audiences. (Optional, but strongly encouraged! The instructor will support students in creating a podcast or blog!)
Listen to lectures from guest speakers, including scientists, philosophers, and others.
*That class is not required to join this one.
